Matthew Tyler MacLellan, 31, of Natick, MA, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born in Natick, MA, he was the son of James David and Maria (Vitello) MacLellan of Natick, MA.
Matthew had worked as a journeyman electrician at Mass Electric Construction and Local 103 of Boston the last 11 years. He loved hockey but most of all he loved making his friends and family laugh.
Matthew gave the gift of life to many through several organ donations.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Ryan Alexander MacLellan of Natick, MA, and a sister, Annie Laurie MacLellan of Natick, MA.
Matthew was the beloved nephew of Eileen and Gregg Vitello, Lisa and John Drury, June and Dan Catching, Marylou and Jeff Gagner, Cathy and Chris O’Connell, Al and Carolee MacLellan, John and Pam MacLellan, Robert and Sharon MacLellan, Sharon Daley and Liz Geier. He was adored by all 24 of his first cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Charles and Elizabeth Vitello, Allan and Catherine MacLellan, and his cousin Michael Vitello.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street NATICK COMMON, Friday, February 24, 2023, at 9AM. Followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private and held at a later date. Visiting hours will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, NATICK COMMON, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 4-8PM
