Michael Norris Brodeur, 60, formerly of Wellesley, MA, passed away Sunday, June 25th, of complications from cancer treatment.
Born in Newton, MA, he was the son of the late Dr. John A. Brodeur and Helen (Flanagan) Brodeur.
Michael was a paramedic for Chaulk/AMR for over 30 years, retiring in 2019. He served in the Navy as a corpsman and earned the distinction of a Navy Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, retiring in 2019. He loved spending time outdoors, camping and hiking, especially with his family.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer A. Brodeur of Sudbury, MA, Sean M. Brodeur of Prague, CZ and son, Ryan T. Brodeur of Millis, MA. His siblings, Jovan M. Brodeur of North Myrtle Beach, SC, John A. Brodeur Jr., of Waitsfield, VT, Michelle F. Parkhurst of Natick, MA, Patrisha L. Hays of Warren, VT, Sister Dymphna S. Brodeur of Moretown, VT, Jacquelyn D. Brodeur of Gunnison, CO, and Paul H. Brodeur of Natick, MA. He leaves many nieces and nephews whom he adored.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 7th, from 4-8PM at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON. The funeral will be on Saturday, July 8th, at 9AM at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central St., Natick, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Wayland, MA.
