Michael (Mike) Andrew Parrott, 57, of Natick, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, with his wife at his side following a period of declining health.
Born in Boston, MA, on May 17, 1968, he was the beloved son of Francis and Monette (Adamantiadis) Parrott Jr. Mike grew up in Billerica and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Vocational Technical High School in 1986 were he studied culinary arts.
Mike loved cooking and spent much of his early culinary career working function and banquet halls for various large hotels. Later in life he worked as a mechanic but still worked occasional jobs in the culinary field such as Brandeis University, Dunkin Donuts, Einstein Bagels and various other companies. Over the past few years, Mike became a specialist in removing light bulbs and wires from many artificial Christmas trees so the limbs could be made into Gnomes for Eastern Star fundraisers.
Mike’s favorite past time was cooking for his friends and family. Just being able to catch up with his loved ones filled him with joy. Mike also enjoyed other activities over the years including bowling and bike riding.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 9 years, Julie A. Lloyd-Parrott (Lloyd), of Natick. He was the loving brother of Frank Parrott III and his wife Cathy, of Gilmanton, New Hampshire. He was the uncle of Chelsea Parrott (Rochester, New Hampshire) and Nicholas Parrott (Boston, MA), and he is also survived by his beloved sister-in-law, Laurie Lloyd of Natick and his two Uncles, David Parrott (Bridgewater, NH) and Bill Parrott (Phoenix, AZ), and Aunt Susan Reilly (South Yarmouth, MA).
Visiting hours will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2 – 4pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. At 4:00 pm a Memorial Service will be held. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
