Nicholas P. Rosato

Nicholas P. Rosato, 67, of Natick, MA, passed away, Thursday, September 21, 2023, at home.

He was the loving husband of Joanne V. Gilmore-Rosato, and is survived by his son Andrew J. Rosato and daughter Rachel L. Rosato, both of Natick, MA, and two sisters Mary Jane D'Alessandro and Donna Hunt of Marshfelid, MA.

Nicholas was born in Hyde Park, Boston to Nicola P. Rosato and Mary J. Rosato (Mahan). Nick was a talented student which led to him becoming a successful Mechanical and Electrical engineer. He had a 34 year career working for the US government at the Natick Labs, retiring in 2015. By far Nicks favorite activity was walking his family’s dog Jessie. Nick went to jazz concerts and loved playing guitar. He was an avid golfer and even bought a house next to one. Nick was a great cook and loved family get togethers. He can be most remembered at the dinner table smiling and cracking jokes over a cup of his much desired coffee.

Nick’s wake will be at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St, Natick Commons, Tuesday September 26, 2023 from 5-8PM, The funeral will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 10AM in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St. Natick. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Nick’s alma mate, Catholic Memorial High School, in his name.
