Nicholas Russo Obituary

Of Natick, passed away suddenly on Monday June 7, 2021 at age 71.

Son of the late John A. Russo and Anna A. (Buterfield). Brother of Mary Russo and Anne Williams of Millis, Carol Migliaccio of Blackstone, John and Barbara Russo of Bellingham, and the late Janice Smith. Survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends. Longtime companion of Marilyn Miller of Natick.

Nick graduated from Natick High School in 1967, he then enlisted in the Marine corps., where he served his country. A Vietnam Veteran. When Nick got out of the service he lived on Cape Cod where he bartended for many years before returning to Natick, where he worked and volunteered at the Natick Amvets.  Nick was an avid fisherman, loved playing his guitar and long walks.  He also played in several softball leagues in his younger days.

Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nicholas’ memory to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 or see www.dav.org
