Pamela Anne Veith-Payton of Framingham passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. She was born in Montclair, NJ on February 27, 1954, to the late Ferdinand and Cornelia Veith.
Pamela’s life was defined by care, devotion, and love. She spent decades as a nurse, a calling she embraced with her whole heart. Her patients, colleagues, and friends remember her as a steady presence—gentle, tireless, and deeply compassionate. Nursing was not just her career; it was her gift after graduating from Children’s Hospital in Boston.
She was the beloved wife of Terry R. Payton, with whom she shared a life filled with laughter, love, and travel. She was the devoted mother of Jenna Anne LeBlanc and her husband Rey of Lancaster, and Sara Kelly Payton-Stone of Natick, and the mother-in-law of Matthew J. Stone of Natick. Pamela’s greatest joy was being “Gaga” to Harrison, Ellery, and Charlotte, who lit up her life with their energy and love.
She was the loving sister of Hedy Whitney and the late Craig Veith.
Pamela found delight in following the traditions and milestones of the British royal family—and she adored her corgis, who were constant and loyal companions.
