Maloon, Patricia M., 89 of Natick, passed away on November 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Waltham, MA to Norbert and Myrtle Meade (Nesbit), she was a 1952 graduate of Waltham High School.
She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Forance and the late Robert Maloon. She was predeceased by her brothers Gerald and John Meade, and her sister Mary Powers. Patricia was the loving mother to Thomas E. Forance and his wife Karen, of Natick, James P. Forance and his wife Janice, of Dracut, Carol Barry and her husband Emile, of Tyngsboro, Elizabeth Fitzgerald and her husband John of Bradenton, FL, Janet Vercelli and her husband Edward, of Buda, Tx, and Anne Dutrey and her husband John, of Montclair, CA; Beloved stepmother to Robert Maloon Jr. and his wife Mary Ann, Peter Maloon, Michael Maloon and his husband Kevin Turner, and Carol Hamilton and her husband Gordon. Beloved sister of Donald Meade of Redondo Beach, CA and Martha Gallagher of Waltham; Cherished grandmother of Michael Fitzgerald (Amanda), Nicholas Fitzgerald, Patrick Fitzgerald (Caitlin), Jack Vercelli, Matthew Forance, Timothy Forance, Kathyrn Forance, Kimberly Dix (Brendan), Christopher Tanner (Brittany), Janine Dutrey and her step-grandchildren, Jessica (Daniel), Julie, Katie, and Molly. Loving great-grandmother to Wyatt, Lily, Haakon, and Lainey. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Pat enjoyed her work as a nursery schoolteacher at the Wellesley Cooperative Nursery School in South Natick. She loved children and was very proud of her large family. She enjoyed walking around her neighborhood in Natick and the trails and beaches near her home in Brewster. Patricia was fond of singing and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Choir. She was also a supportive member of the Natick Firefighters Wives Association. Earlier in life, Pat was a dedicated Girl Scout leader. In her later years, she enjoyed going on various outings with her fellow members of the Red Hat Society and keeping up with the Boston Bruins. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her beloved family.
Visiting hours will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 8:30-9:30 am, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Church, 144 E. Central St., Natick at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, S. Natick.
