Peter D. Quirk

Peter D. Quirk of Natick passed away on August 30, 2026. He was born in Winthrop, MA on November 16, 1946, to the late Thomas and Minnie (Roan) Quirk. Beloved husband and best friend of Teresa (DeLorey) Quirk. Devoted father of Susan Deeves and her husband Richard of Cumberland, ME, and Brendan Quirk of Cherryfield, ME. Loving grandfather of Clara and Owen Deeves. Cherished brother of Virginia Webber and her husband Robert and the late Catherine Trenholm and her husband Ross. 

Peter graduated from Natick High School with the class of 1964. He was a Coast Guard veteran who served in Vietnam. He also drove a truck for over thirty years, driving car carriers throughout New England. He and Teresa married in 1973 in Natick and raised their children here. 

Peter was a capable and knowledgeable mariner. His greatest joy was in spending time with friends and family on the ocean. He passed on this same love to his children and grandchildren. 

Visiting Hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common on Thursday September 3rd from 11am-1pm. Followed by a Memorial Service at 1pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date.
