Ralph H. Norris, 84, of Natick, reunited with his late wife and the love of his life, Eleanor (Doherty) Norris in Heaven, on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Born in LaGrange, Georgia, on October 2, 1940, he was the beloved son of Roy R. and Mary Ann (Roy) Norris. Ralph was raised in a military family and lived on several bases when he was growing up. He graduated high school in Tennessee and joined the U.S. Navy in 1959. He served with honor and courage during the Vietnam War aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea and continued serving in the Navy for over 27 years until his retirement in 1987. After that, Ralph continued in his military career serving as a security guard for 15 years at the Natick Army Labs from August 1987 to October 2002. He was a true patriot who spent his life serving and protecting the country he loved so dearly.
Ralph is predeceased by his parents, his wife Eleanor, and his twin brother, Floyd Norris. He was the devoted father of James Norris and his wife Leslie of Worcester, Laura Hundley and her husband Rob of Fairfax, VA. Loving grandfather of Madeline Landry, Rachel and Alysa Hundley. Brother of Sandra Seay of Clarksville, TN, Robert Norris, of Michigan, and Roy Norris. Brother-in-law to Neil Doherty and his wife Carol, Arlene Doherty, Rita Doherty and her late husband John “Jack” Doherty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service and interment are private.
