Richard (Dick) C. Maclean, of Natick passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026.

Born August 6, 1948, in Lynn, MA to Russell and Joyce (Blanchette) Maclean. He was the oldest of five siblings: Joyce, MaryEllen (predeceased), Jan and Russ.

He leaves his loving wife Jeanie May, daughter, Candace (Bob), and granddaughters Nora and Sophie. Brother-in-Law to Judy and Charlie Johnson and Rob and Jan Coleman. Uncle to Sam and Hayley Johnson and Liz, Mike, and Katie Coleman. Dick was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dick served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1969-1975.

He retired from the MSLC after 37 years in 2013.

Dick enjoyed hot humid days, all NE sports, fishing, reading three daily newspapers, doing crossword puzzles and having lunch with his old buddies. He especially liked Casey's cheeseburgers and a good roast beef sandwich.

Dick loved having a cottage on Chebeague Island, ME for 9 summers, which was something he always enjoyed and cherished. He was a true homebody who kept an eye on all the activities surrounding our pond from his private patio or our upper deck.

Starting in 1997, we were lucky to have 3 wonderful black labs who gave us forever memories over the years. During our 30 years in Natick, he looked forward to sharing many holidays with family, relatives and friends at our home. We also had many great New England Patriot's Game gatherings at our house with a group of young and old fans!
