Rita D. (Fasulo) Porter

Rita D. (Fasulo) "Honey" Porter of Natick, devoted wife of the late Donald A. Porter, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with dementia.

Daughter of the late Anthony & Menta (Cataloni) Fasulo, Mrs. Porter enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially trips to New Hampshire, Aruba and family vacations on Cape Cod. Known for her gifts in the crafting world, she especially loved making quilts and Halloween costumes for her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Porter Jr. and his wife Dianna of Florida; Robert Porter and his wife Judy of Framingham; two daughters, Cynthia Nicoli of Natick and Ann Sullivan and her husband Paul of Framingham; a sister, Linda Fasulo and her wife Lisa Mecodangelo of California; nine grandchildren, Derek Porter and his wife Rachel, Kristin Menc, Christopher Chickering and fiance Laura Matsie, Jacquelyn Nicoli, Robert Porter Jr., Daniel Porter, James Nicoli, Brenna Sullivan and Ava Sullivan; and eight great-grandchildren, Jerome, Benjamin, Ella, Sean, Kaelyn, Cadence, Lalaya and Emelia. 

Mrs. Porter was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Porter, and siblings, Mildred (Kitty) Souther, Leonard Fasulo, Robert Fasulo, Ronald Fasulo, Steven Fasulo.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 9:00 AM.  Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 44 E. Central St. (Rt. 135), Natick at 10:00 AM.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Natick.  Visiting hours in the funeral home, Friday November 5, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
