Robert Macone Obituary
Robert S. Macone of Natick, MA and Bridgton, ME passed away on December 17, 2025. He was born in Boston on October 15, 1948, to the late Robert J. and Doris A. (Thayer) Macone and raised in Concord. Beloved husband of Ann (Breen) Macone. Devoted father of Benjamin Macone and his wife Tanya Aure of San Diego, CA, Jonathan Macone and his wife Sarah of Ridgewood, NJ, and Joanna Macone of Boston. Cherished brother of Paul Macone and his wife Donna of Concord, and Janet Harrington and her husband Paul of Sandwich. Loving grandfather of Henry, Carsten, Logan, and Ellie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Macone was a longtime educator in the Natick Public Schools and a skilled woodworker, mechanic, and graphic designer. He led an active life—running, hiking, skiing, playing hockey, and ballroom dancing—and volunteered with the Natick Lions Club.
Visiting Hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Monday, December 22nd from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Macone may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or www.alz.org
