Ronald Lacharite Obituary

Ronald Joseph Lacharite, 80, of Norwood, MA, passed away, Wednesday, June 14th, at the Eliot Center for Health & Rehab, Natick.

He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Falk) Lacharite.

Born in Holyoke, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Feinsinger) Lacharite.

Mr. Lacharite studied languages at Middlebury College and later got his degree in education at Harvard University. A lover of music throughout his life, he played a wide variety of instruments and kept active in local orchestras. He was fluent in German and had a passion for fine audio equipment, and unique board games.

He is survived by a son, Aaron Lacharite of Topsfield, MA, a daughter, Magda Kitano and her husband Yasuyoshi of Saitama, Japan, a brother, Richard Lacharite of Westfield, MA, a granddaughter, Megumi Kitano and a partner of 30 years, Geraldine Elion.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 26th, at 10AM in Westview Cemetery, Lexington, MA.
