Scott E. Hamel

Scott E. Hamel of Framingham passed away suddenly on January 10, 2025.  He was born in Worcester on June 8, 1970 to the late Leo Hamel and Marjorie McGinn. Devoted brother of Michael Hamel and his wife Cindy of Bellingham, Patti Waleko and her husband Dominick of Pittsburg, PA. Loving uncle of Justin Hamel, Coreybeth Hamel, Miranda Cloutier, Shane Hamel and Ava Waleko. All to say he leaves behind his long-time friend Zan, his second home called The Eagles and many others. 

Scott’s infectious laugh could make anyone smile no matter the distance. He loved anything Patriots, Harley-Davidson, travel and was infamous for seeking any adrenaline rush. He was the most hardworking person. He loved his job at Brandeis University serving as the Supervisor of Building Trades. He would be the first one offering a helping hand to anyone in need- you could always count on him. Scott loved his family deeply and was the best brother, uncle, son and friend to all. He will be missed tremendously. 

Funeral Service in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street Natick Common on Friday, January 16th at 10am. Followed by a luncheon at the Framingham Eagles 55 Park Street, Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private. Visiting Hours on Thursday January 15th from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
