Severino “Pete” Bregoli, 101, of Framingham, formerly of Natick, passed away peacefully at his home after a period of declining health.
Born on March 1, 1924 in Natick, he was the son of Comevue and Rosa (Ferrarini) Bregoli. Severino attended local Natick schools, graduating from Natick High School. In 1943 at the age of 19, Severino enlisted with the U.S. Army and fought with honor and courage during World War II. He saw action in Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. He worked at General Motors for 38 years. Later in his retirement, he worked as part time caretaker at Glenwood cemetery. He enjoyed golf and bowling.
He is predeceased by his parents and brothers, George, Benzy, Fred, Lindo, Walter, and Val (all Bregoli), and his sister, Adele Handley. Severino is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 am in Glenwood Cemetery, 50 Glenwood St., Natick. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
