Stan Harris, 79, of Natick, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Harriett and Clemence Stanislaus, Stan grew up in Uxbridge and graduated from Uxbridge High School in 1964. He carried with him the values of hard work, kindness, and family that his parents instilled in him; qualities that shaped the man he became and that he passed down to his own children.
In his younger years, Stan enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life. He attended Boston Art School for four years, followed by two years studying photography, before ultimately following his true passion for automotive work. Over the years, Stan held many positions in the industry, but he spent the majority of his career proudly working for Bernardi Auto Group.
Though dedicated to his work, Stan’s greatest joys were simple and meaningful: photography, his morning coffee, and cooking up his famous weekend home fries for his family.
Above all else, Stan’s heart belonged to his family. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Harris, Tynisha Harris, Elaina Harris, and Seth Harris; his beloved grandchildren, Jayden, Adrian, Nevaeh, Jadaius, Elias, and Jahcynelli; his sister, Myrtis White, and brother-in-law, Roger White; and his former wife, Joan Harris.
Stan was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and humor left lasting imprints on everyone’s heart. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will live on through his family and the many memories he created.
A man who treasured simple joys: A camera in hand, or a hot cup of coffee, Stan leaves behind a life well-lived and deeply loved.
Burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
