Stephen J Geraneo Obituary

Stephen J. Geraneo in Hudson, formerly of Woburn passed away on January 3, 2024.

Beloved husband of Carolyn (Gilman) Geraneo.  Devoted father of Donna Shown and her husband Jeffrey of Hudson.  Loving grandfather of Olivia, Chloe and Eliana Shown.  Brother of Raymond Geraneo and his wife Liz of North Andover and David Geraneo of Melrose.  Son of the late Cosmo and Gertrude “Gay” (Pagliuca) Geraneo.  Stephen is also survived by his many cousins and life-long friends as well as several nieces and nephews.

Stephen will always be remembered as being the life of the party, he loved air guitar and rock music, especially Journey. He treated everyone like family and was a wonderful father and grandfather “Papa”.  His granddaughters brought so much joy and happiness to his life, giving him the strength to fight as long as he could. Becoming a grandfather was his greatest joy. He was a faithful Boston Red Sox fan and looked forward to every game.
