Terrence Lefter
July 18, 1943 – July 7, 2025
Terrence “Terry” Lefter of Natick, MA, passed away on July 7, 2025, just shy of his 82nd birthday. He was a devoted partner, adoring grandfather, and friend who brought kindness, laughter, and music into the lives of those who knew him.
A hardworking man with a strong sense of pride in his craft, Terry dedicated many years to construction, remodeling, and painting. But his true passion was music. He discovered a passion for drumming at age 13 and went on to spend more than 25 years performing with his band, The Wagon Wheelers, sharing his love of jazz and live music with all who would listen.
Terry is lovingly remembered by his longtime partner, Carolyn McIntyre of Natick. Together, they found great joy in life’s simple pleasures - picnicking by the South Natick waterfall, soaking up the sun at Nantasket Beach, exploring the city of Boston, and listening to music side by side. In recent years, he became affectionately known as “Papa Terry” for the joy, playfulness, and devotion that he brought to his greatgrandchildren, whose company he treasured.
Terry is survived by his son, Jeffrey Tomassini of Framingham, his stepdaughter, Angelisa Bowman of Pennsylvania; and his brothers - all of whom he loved, missed, and thought of often.
Visiting Hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick on Tuesday, July 15th from 4-7pm. Followed by a Funeral Home Service at 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
