We are sad to announce that Tom “Tommy” Kane of Milford, MA passed away at Tuft’s Medical Center in Boston on September 11, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on February 11, 1990, in Holliston, MA to his parents Joseph T. Kane III and Kathleen P. (Parsons) Kane, he attended Holliston elementary schools before moving to Milford, MA in 1997. Tom attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 2008. He was one of Milford’s greatest athletes performing at high levels in Football (Capt 2007), Basketball, Track and Baseball. He was a key member of Milford High’s victorious 2006 Central Massachusetts Superbowl team. To watch him play sports was both exciting and an absolute joy! After graduation, Tom attended Norwich University in Northfield, VT where he played varsity football for two years and then transferred and graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2013 with a degree in Communications. Over the years he was employed by Bose Corporation as a tech support expert and then by TJX Corporation as a Human Resources representative. Tom was loved and respected by all that he worked with and they adored his positive attitude, his quick wit and sense of humor.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his two brothers. Joseph T. Kane IV and wife Tarym of Westford, MA and Brett Kane and wife Megan of Fall River, MA. Tom was uncle to Quinn Willow Kane and Joseph Thomas Kane V of Westford and Jack Thomas Wayne Kane and Liam Sowersby of Fall River. He was also a “brother” to Jacob Pham who lived with our family for seven years. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved going to Tom’s games and supporting him in whatever he was playing. He was predeceased by his grandparents Joseph T. Kane, Jr and Virginia (Morris) Kane of Natick as well as John C. Parsons and Madeline (Conley) Parsons of Natick.
Services for Tom, under the direction of John Everett Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick will be held on Friday, September 18th at 10:30am-12:30pm in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30pm and burial will be in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery on Pond Street in Natick.
