Virginia M. (Intinarelli) MacPherson of Tucson, Arizona. A resident of Natick for 76 years passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 19, 2019.
Virginia was the beloved wife of Stanley MacPherson for 69 years. She was born in Natick, Ma on September 14, 1927. Graduated from Natick High School in 1945. After graduating she worked for the New England Telephone Co. in Framingham for 13 years. She was one of the first workers for Jordan Marsh at Shoppers World. She was a devoted wife and mother. Years later she was employed by Hoffman’s Apparel. She always had a flair for fashion and was head of their ‘Designers’ department. Virginia was a Charter Member of the Hartford Street Presbyterian Church, an Elder, and Director of the nursery. Also participated on many social committees. After retiring to Tucson, AZ in 2003, she became a member of the Christ Presbyterian Church. She loved entertaining family and friends. Her specialty was making delicious Italian dishes, apple pie and so much more! She loved to vacation on Cape Cod.
She also leaves two daughters, Karen Jimenez and her husband Ignacio of Tucson, AZ and Jean Whitney and her husband John of Natick. Four grandchildren, Madison Summerville, her husband Mason and Mitchell Owen of Tucson, AZ. Jake and Jared Whitney of Natick. One great-grandson, Maximus Summerville. One sister, Janet Fair of Holliston. She was the daughter of the late James Intinarelli and Catherin Tafalo Intinarelli. She was one of fifteen children. John, Tony, Walter, William, Harry, Vincent, Ernest, Rocky, Carlo, Richie Intinarelli, Mamie Lanni, Cecilia Nelson, Isabel Intinarelli and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life service will be on Monday, June 17th at Hartford Presbyterian Church in Natick at 11:00am. A wake will be held at John Everett’s & sons on Sunday, June 16th from 4-7pm.
