Vito E. Lentini, 104, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Vito was the beloved husband of the late Margaret F. (Antalek) Lentini, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. He was a lifelong resident of Natick and the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Badalucco) Lentini.

He is survived by his four children: Edward Lentini and his wife, Sarah; Joseph Lentini and his wife, Judith; Judith (Lentini) Johnson and her late husband, Gordon; and James Lentini and his wife, Julia. He also leaves his grandchildren, Lucas and Benjamin Johnson, Gabriella, Maria, Stephen (and his wife, ShayAnn), Matthew, Thomas (and his wife, Dana) and Gina Lentini, and Catherine (and her husband, Matthew Ilczyna) and Timothy Camelio; one great-grandchild, Aurora Margaret Lentini; his sister-in-law, Donna Lentini; and many nieces and nephews.

Vito proudly served his country from 1939 to 1945, entering the Army National Guard and later federalized in the U.S. Army Air Force, where he served in the Northern Solomons campaign during World War II. Following his honorable discharge, he attended the School of Practical Arts in Boston, where he earned his degree in graphic arts. After graduation, he met Margaret, who became the love of his life.  Vito worked for the Raytheon Company for 38 years before retiring. In retirement, he continued to pursue the many interests that brought him joy, including artwork, gardening, fishing, and furniture making. He was a longtime member of the Framingham Art Guild, where his oil paintings were exhibited and juried and earned numerous ribbons. Vito was a resourceful, talented, and accomplished man who leaves behind an admirable legacy. Above all, he cherished his family and always looked forward to visits with family and friends. His kindness, creativity, and love of life will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2026, at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home in Natick Center. 

Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday August 31, 2026, from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home in Natick Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Natick. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery on Pond Street, Natick.
