Wade Rodger Chavious

Wade Rodger Chavious, 92, of Natick, passed away at St. Patrick’s Manor, in Framingham on October 10, 2024, following a brief illness.

Born on April 13, 1932, in Orangeburg, SC, Wade was the son of the late Oliver R. and Martha (Chavis) Chavious. Wade was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

Wade was a hard worker and avid entrepreneur, working and running his successful electrician business, “Wade’s Electric” for 45 years before his retirement in 2003. Wade's greatest joy was when his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit their "Papa Wade" and "Grampy." Wade was also an avid gardener and spent countless hours in his garden.

Wade is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Estelle A. (St. John) Chavious. He is a loving father to his three sons, Roger W. Chavious, of TX, and his partner Barry Anderson, Scott M. Chavious, of Franklin, MA, and his wife Cindy, and Glenn T. Chavious, of FL. He is the beloved grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Wade was one of eight children and is now survived by his brother Douglas Chavious of South Carolina.

A Funeral Service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON, Saturday, November 2nd at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A visitation hour will be held in the funeral home prior to the service from 10am – 11 am.
