William Burke Obituary
William F. Burke, 73, of Natick, MA, passed away on Saturday, June 24th, at Tufts Medical Center, Boston.
He was the husband of Linda A. (Kydd) Burke.
Born in Brighton, MA, he was the son of the late William F. and Marion A. (Murphy) Burke.
Mr. Burke was a police officer with Sherborn Police Department for 26 years, retiring in 2011. He was a long-time member of the Natick Elks. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, William F. Burke IV and his wife Courtney of North Attleboro, MA, and Allan J. Burke of Natick, MA, a brother, Robert P. Burke of Tolland, CT, and two sisters, Patricia Piers and her husband Theodore of Estero, FL, and Donna Jones of Millis, MA, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON, Friday, June 30, 2023, at 9AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 180 Pond St., Natick. Visiting hours will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, NATICK COMMON, on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5-8PM.
