Obituary

William “Billy” Christie, 70, of Natick, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Laurie, his children Bailey, Matthew and his wife Vanessa, Craig, and Kevin and his girlfriend Lorena. He also leaves behind his father Charlie, sister Lori and her husband Mike, brother Jeff, and sister Carolyn and her husband Brian as well as his Brother-in-Law Jon and his wife Kathy and was predeceased by his mother Nancy. Additionally, Bill has many cherished cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

Born and raised in Natick, Bill attended Natick schools where he played soccer, hockey, and basketball. He then went to Bridgton Academy where he continued to play sports, followed by New England College where he met his wife Laurie, and after two years was drafted into the Army.

Bill then began his career as a Sommelier at Pier 4 in Boston, worked in Real Estate, at Coan Oil Company, and Pagell Corporation. His true passion was driving trucks and operating cranes at O.B. Hill Trucking and Rigging Company in Natick.

Bill enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He was an avid lover of nature. He was happiest outdoors boating, fishing, camping, hiking, or just relaxing on the water. He also spent time cooking, gardening, and introducing his family and friends to new wines and restaurants.

A loving, supportive and loyal person, Bill valued spending time with his family and friends more than anything else. His pride and joy were his wife and children. He made friends with everyone he met and truly enjoyed getting to know people, swapping stories, or having passionate discussions about anything.

Visiting Hours will be at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. NATICK COMMON, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 2-6 pm. Funeral service and interment will be private.
